Backpacking, camping, hiking, and all things related. Thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail (or attempting to, rather) in Spring 2018. I generally favor "lightweight" backpacking, meaning that my focus is more on mileage than being comfortable in camp. I've thru-hiked the 300-mile Benton MacKaye Trail that begins, like the Appalachian Trail, on Springer Mountain in Georgia. I've also thru-hiked the Sheltowee Trace in Kentucky. I also write music for video. I share my work for free with others on SoundCloud. At last count, my music has been used in more than 4,000+ other videos.
