My name is Mark Smith and I am happily addicted to photography! My addiction or obsession as my wife calls it, started many years ago when I was a little boy. My first real camera wasn't mine at all. I sort of hijacked my dad's old Minolta XG-1 35MM Film camera. He showed me the basics of how the camera worked and off I went like a raving lunatic snapping pictures of anything that moved. “Oh look, a big bug of some kind!” Click, picture taken. I couldn't get enough of it and my poor dad was paying for it in more ways than one. I was constantly asking him to stop the car so I could take a picture of this or that. It really didn't matter where we were or what we were doing. I was ready to go shutter crazy. By the way, this shutter craziness hasn't stopped. In fact, it has gotten much worse but now my wife and kids have to deal with my obsessive photography needs and now the entire world can come along for the ride. Let's take some pictures!
