We're Trent & Lorajean. To us, hand building our concrete farmhouse & a sustainable homestead is art! In 2013 we sold our little house in the city and purchased a neglected 7 acre farm in Idaho. The farm was run-down, but cheap, which allowed us to get completely out of debt! As artists, we are excited to completely restore and rebuild our old farmhouse little-by-little out of concrete, stone, and wood. We love all things old, and integrate old style artistry using old-time skills. We find that old-fashioned, "primitive" skills are not only helpful and enjoyable to understand, but also highly artistic! We grow a lot of our own food, make our own dairy products, and raise all our own meat and eggs. We spend as much time as possible together and with our 5 kids, and we try to live a good, happy life while learning how to be more self-sufficient. Join us 6 days a week.
